  What used to be the show piece for the County FA, unfortunately it has dipped a lot. Although they have made a lot of changes, the new pitch that has been put in place is not user friendly, the rubber used in it has carcengenic properties and could cause skin cancer it has also no give in it and causes problems with players backs, knees, and ankles. They allow supporters to have beer outside around the playing areas, which is against one of their own rules, but when I mentioned this i was told it would cost them a loss in profits. The bar has very little choice of which it is not very good, so all in all at the moment not a very good place for players or supporters.

  Absolutely a joke of a facility run by complete idiots. The new artificial surface is dangerous because of the ludicrous regulations imposed by the staff on the type of footwear allowed on it. ie no astroturf trainers, blades or boots. Only round studs or moulded round studded boots allowed. (Apparently they are more concerned with the protection of the pitch than the people who play on it!) As a result numerous of kids, teens and adults end up with horrendous injuries here twisted ankles, broken ankles, ligament damage and tendon injuries to name but a few. As mentioned by a previous reviewer the rubber bullets in the artificial grass are carcinogenic and are particularly hazardous to goalkeepers. When the ball when stuck at them flicks up and often ends up it the eyes of the goalkeepers. All in all I would never play or allow my son's to play on this type of cheap and nasty, poorly managed facility ever again. I hope for your sake you are never asked to play here.
